Who is this Paffen Security Service, anyway?
We, Paffen Guard and Security Service, started in 2015 as an owner-managed security company at our headquarters in Bonn, and we focus on tailor-made, regional services for our clients. Due to high demand, we have now opened further locations throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. We offer our services independently of industry, primarily in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Rhineland-Palatinate.

Paffen Wach- und Sicherheitsdienst GmbH was founded in 2015 by Timo Paffen and, in the initial years, was managed by him and his wife Sarah Müller. The company has since grown to over 90 employees and, in addition to its headquarters in Bonn, operates branches in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Essen, Duisburg, and Koblenz.
Paffen Security and Guarding Services is locally rooted in North Rhine-Westphalia and relies on careful training and strong employee retention to provide high-quality security services long-term. The main areas of work include property protection, industrial security, event security, reception services, guarding services, security, and construction site surveillance. Managing Director and Company Founder
About Timo Paffen
Timo Paffen is the founder and managing director of Paffen Wach- und Sicherheitsdienst GmbH, based in Bonn.
Even at the age of 19, he founded his first own security company in 2011 without formal training, based in Wachtberg, and made his first contacts in the security industry.
In 2015, he founded Paffen Wach- und Sicherheitsdienst and developed it through his own efforts into an established, certified security service provider. A high standard of quality and a strong service ethos were the driving forces to remain competitive in the market.
Timo Paffen is currently responsible for a steadily growing team of employees, whom he trains within the company. He is also actively involved in the qualification and further training of security staff in NRW.
Furthermore, Timo Paffen is responsible for the project Impulse pilot, which addresses youth welfare facilities with special security services.
With the software Factual Does Timo Paffen create a simple, integrated solution for companies in the security industry to manage customers, deployment schedules, subcontractors, and accounting in a clear and organised way?.

The Puffing App
With GPS monitoring and predefined checkpoints, our customers can follow the patrols live in our app. This allows us to trace with the utmost precision exactly when our employees have checked which checkpoint. After each patrol is completed, the customer also receives a report with all identified irregularities. Naturally, in cases of suspicion or serious incidents, the necessary measures or escalations are immediately initiated.
