Our security staff have at least the certificate of competence according to §34a GewO. They also complete training courses in first aid, fire safety, de-escalation and driving safety. All intervention staff also receive special intervention training. Our employees also have SHE certification in accordance with Doc. 16 and 17. All qualifications are regularly updated and expanded by our own security academy.
Before being deployed for the first time, each member of staff is checked in the guard register and only deployed once they have been authorised by the authorities. Our security forces act on the basis of the applicable laws, in particular §34a GewO. They are not permitted to take on any sovereign tasks, but use the so-called „everyman's right“ (e.g. provisional arrest on suspicion of an offence) as well as the right to self-defence and state of emergency. All measures are always taken within the legal framework, professionally and proportionately.
